8. I am a huge fan of lists. My dad is the ultimate planner, goal setter, and list maker. I have been setting goals and making lists for basically my entire life. Every year we would sit down and come up with goals and then list out ways we would accomplish those goals. I developed a love hate relationship with that night.
Today however, I want to make a list of my top ten things right now. My life is good and things are going great. So in honor of that, I would like to list them:
10. Work. I just just a great job as a carpet cleaning technician. Previously, I was working at a call center (which I hated with all my soul), and at a store called SimplyMac. The call center was honestly hell every time I went there. My boss was a tool, and making outbound calls was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Then at SimplyMac, I was working for minimum wage I didn't feel like it was worth it. 8 hour shifts every single day, plus school was also very taxing. So this job will be very nice because it will be 4 days a week, and it will pay me very well.
9. I found a place to live with my fiance! I'm very excited. We don't live together now and we wont until we're married, but the apartment we found is awesome and is in a great location. It didn't look like we were going to get it but then a miracle happened and we got it. We're taking orem by storm.
8. Skyping good friends from Austria. As previously written, I served a mission in Austria and I miss the people so much. A few Sundays ago, I was able to skype one of my favorite people there. She is an old, slowenian woman name Djurdjica, has told us to simply call her Georgia. She has basically become a second mother. It was great to see her and talk to her.
7. Chocolate milk. I'm honestly obsessed and I love it.
6. School is almost over. I am basically standing right at the door to a great summer. No school, lots of work and money, and marriage. Its kind of crazy how much things will change this summer, but I'm ready for the adventure. It will be so fun to take on my new life and start being a functional and contributing member to society.
5. Basketball with my little brother. I currently live in Provo, and my parents live in lindon. So while I don't go home everyday, I do have the opportunity to go play basketball with my little brother a couple times a week. He is 15 and needs good support in his life. He's got great friends but I feel as though I am able to influence him a lot. And staying active and getting exercise is also great. I love to workout and sometimes its hard to find the time. AND, I always win. haha.
4. My parents. They just are so helpful and do so much for me. They'll always be in the top ten
3. Sleep. I am sleeping a lot less than I would like and getting up much earlier than I would like every day. So the rare times that I get to sleep in a little are very nice. It usually only happens about one every three weeks because of school and work, but when it happens, its glorious.
2. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a mormon. And I love it.
1. My fiance. She's the greatest. She just makes me so happy and we're always laughing when we're together. When I'm stressed or super busy, its so nice to be able to take a minute and step back and realize how much she helps me.
